Ledbury parents urged to contact school

CHANGES have been made to school bus collections in Ledbury because of the weather.
Parents and guardians who have children who use the bus at Ledbury’s John Masefield High School are asked to contact them urgently on 01531 631012.
Herefordshire Council says arrangements are being made for buses to take as many as 400 pupils home at 1.30pm today, providing the school can contact parents or guardians.
Those who live in walking distance will remain at school for the rest of the day, the council says.
This action is being taken as a result of advice given by school bus companies following local road closures and forecasts of further rain.
