KINGTON police are warning homeowners to be on the lookout for rogue tarmaccers in the area.
Officers are urging residents to be vigilant following various incidents county-wide where two men have called round offering their services at little or no cost.
The pair, who have been reported to trading standards officers, then do far more than is required before asking for large sums of money in return.
They have been using two vans - a white Vauxhall Combo and a white Ford Transit - to call on people.
Anyone with information should call police.
