A MAIN road near Kington will shut for three days from next week for resurfacing and drainage works.
But Herefordshire Council said residents affected by the A4111 closure between Parton junction and the Headbrook roundabout from November 15 to 18 will have full access and disruption would be minimal.
Clive Hall of Herefordshire Council said: “Unfortunately we will not be able to complete these works safely without closing the road and as this is a popular stretch of road, we wanted to give motorists plenty of advance warning about the closure so they can plan ahead for any essential journeys they need to make during this period.”
Diversions using the A44 and A4112 around the affected section, commonly known as Cemetery Bends, will be signposted.
