NEW holiday lets will open near Hay-on-Wye after plans for a barn conversion at Craswall were approved by councillors.
Two units, one with two bedrooms and the other with one, will be created at Upper House despite concerns from Hereford Council’s traffic manager that an access road to the building was in a poor state.
The parish council also felt the property was unsuitable for more traffic, so southern area committee members passed the application on condition more passing places were created.
One letter of objection, regarding increases in traffic, and one of support, which said more holiday accommodation was needed in the area, were also received.
