MEMBERS of WI clubs from around Hay-on-Wye joined forces to put their own spin on the credit crisis at an annual meeting.

Those from Longtown performed their own version of Snow White - with just one dwarf in tow because of the economic downturn - while the group from Clifford staged the ‘Seven Ages of Woman’ and Dorstone members sang songs old and new.

The entertainment, which also included choral speaking from the Pontrilas group, followed a supper to mark the four clubs’ annual group meeting at the memorial hall.
