TWO kittens dumped in a bin have been saved after shopworkers heard their cries.
The pair, both less than a month old, were rescued from a bin in Tenbury Road, Bromyard.
Staff at Countrywide Stores discovered them after hearing faint cries.
The kittens were discovered on US election day and have been named Obi and Mac after the presidential candidates.
But thankfully, they’re both winners, as they’re are now being housed at the Bromyard offices of Equine Market Watch.
Elaine Tasker, EMW co-founder, accepted the kittens as her daughter works at Countrywide Stores.
She admitted the kittens were probably dumped, but said the pair were in good health and looking for a good home.
“It would be very unlikely for a little cat to go in the skip – they could have been in there an hour or a couple of days,” she said.
“Their eyes are open and they look well, if a bit bewildered, and we’ve had them on milk.
“They will stay with us for as long as necessary but we’d like to find them a good home.”
Staff at EMW were uncertain of the kittens’ sex, but are happy to look after the pair for the near future.
Anyone interested in giving Obi and Mac a good home can call the charity on 07870 860825 or email emw@equinemarketwatch.org.uk
