STAFF and students are willing to pull out their hair to support a lifesaving appeal in Bromyard.
Queen Elizabeth Humanities College is backing Simon Halling and the Community First Responder Scheme.
The charity wants to buy a £2,000 kit bag containing oxygen cylinders, blood pressure equipment and a defibrillator.
And they could reach the target thanks to a teacher and pupil ready to break the pain barrier.
Year 9 pupil Timmy Oliver will have his legs waxed if pupils raise £500 or more during the next six assemblies.
Music teacher David Kemp will go for the chest treatment if that figure is doubled.
“It seemed like a good idea at the time but having thought about it, I am beginning to get rather nervous,” he said.
