A REVAMPED Hereford restaurant is preparing for business again less than a month after suddenly closing.
The credit crunch and the location of Las Domus Bar & Bistro were blamed for its demise last month.
But the privately-owned venue below Pomona Place Travelodge has new owners and is soon to reopen as Oliver’s.
Former co-director, Mike Moran, bought the lease and wants to cater for families and hotel guests.
The restaurant is due to reopen on October 23.
“We thought we needed to cater more for the Travelodge guests and the local area,” said Mr Moran. “Although we’re keeping the bar and bistro theme, we’re making it more family-orientated.”
Mr Moran said local firms who supported the original venture were helping to refurbish the 100-seat restaurant.
